Fresh Rentals

Ferries

The ferries operate from Wellington in the North Island and Picton in the South Island. Both seaports feature special drive-on facilities. You can simply drive your car, Campervan or Motorhome on board and park it. You can enjoy a film, or relax in the numerous lounges, bars, restaurants or cafes.

Many simply marvel at the splendor of the Marlborough Sounds amidst the backdrop of the Southern Alps. We are happy to pre-book your ferry tickets on any of the daily sailings. As the Ferries are often booked out, it is essential to advise us of your requirements as soon as possible. You can change the time or day later if necessary, subject to availability, or cancel should your route plans change.

And the view. Cruising through some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. The Ferry is a breathtaking introduction to the North or South Island, and the beauty that lies ahead.

Journey time is approximately 3.5 hours.

The rates below are for fully flexible fares. Should non-flexible fares fit your requirements, these can be booked with us at a special discounted price. Contact us for details.
